Sonimeny is a skilled weaver and seamstress, who provides for herself and 5 children in Ambandrika (Sainte Luce). She is great at making basket, mats and even cool hats out of Mahampy (a local grass). She is a pillar in her community, working with other local women to create crafts which they sell through their co-operative community.
